Want a two-hour class at your local SPCA to find one, what your cat is trying to say with his behavior and body language? I would! Only such a class is in Tampa, FL has recently offered by the Tampa Bay SPCA Humane Education in their construction.
Some say that if a cat wags its tail to say that is wrong. If my cat wags its tail, I think she said she is happy. If my cat purrs, I think she is happy and satisfied, but some sayPurring is a sign of disease. Not as a working cat whisperer, "two hours of lessons I found most interesting.
The class was given in two parts. Part I, called Kitty Garden was all about cats and cat owners aged less than 4 months were invited to bring their cats. The emphasis was on early socialization in the direction of veterinarians, cat carrier or crate, animals including a dog (a dog-friendly cat, attention), nail clipping, and other aggressive advertisingBehavior toward other animals.
Part II, called Cat Talk lasted for months, oriented 4 cats and cats were not invited. This class has been learning to aggressive behavior and not always with other animals. It is also covered scratches, spots, problems of litter and excessive vocalization.
More than anything, it was as cats are unclear. Donna Bainter, responsible behavior in the Tampa Bay SPCA, has taught the class.Bainter said: "If the changes in the behavior of a cat, people tend to think of cats, they are simply angry or upset or just one. The track is not the way a cat thinks, this is not behind the behavior they exhibit. "
So, what are the answers? For those of us who could not attend the class and have behavior problems with our dogs or cats, we should perhaps local SPCA to see if our offer of training as a cat / dog-care behavior.
